On June 10, two minority reports replaced the recommendations made by the Review of Presbytery Records Committee (RPR) and were approved by the 43rd General Assembly.

Due to the gravity and complexity of the issues involved, the Committee believes that a more perfected version of the resolution would better serve the Assembly.

Personal Resolution on Civil Rights Remembrance

Be it therefore resolved, that the 43rd General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in America does recognize and confess our church’s covenantal and generational involvement in and complicity with racial injustice inside and outside of our churches during the Civil Rights period.
