The Board of Trustees voted unanimously to affirm the recommendation of the Presidential Search Committee and appoint Dr. Brad Voyles as the next president of Covenant College.
The search committee has narrowed the pool to several candidates it will pursue further in the process.
Filled with history and tragedy, old Carter Hall found redemption when Covenant College moved in.
Voyles will serve as interim president until President Halvorson’s successor has been selected to assume office, which is expected to occur on or before July 1, 2024.
“Dr. Halvorson’s credentials as a scholar, a President, a leader, a fundraiser, and a faithful servant of out Lord Jesus Christ make him the ideal candidate to be the first Executive Director of the Brock-Barnes Center for Leadership.”
