A summary of the overtures before the 48th General Assembly, most of which come from the denomination’s 88 presbyteries.

The completed Digest contains a clear and concise account of the undertakings of the PCA and the decisions of the General Assembly relating to the government and discipline of the church.

The PCA Administrative Committee is providing a way for churches and members to read progress reports from PCA ministries and engage with resources from previous General Assemblies.

The Administrative Committee approved a recommendation to postpone the General Assembly scheduled to meet in Birmingham on June 15-19, 2020.

The podcast will publish new episodes weekly designed to promote the unity, purity, and progress of the church.  

On April 13 the Administrative Committee will meet virtually discuss postponing the 48th General Assembly scheduled to meet in Birmingham, Alabama on June 15-19, 2020. 

As a veteran of more than 30 General Assemblies, Ric Springer sums up his role as chairman of floor clerks succinctly: “Chief gopher, keep the Assembly moving, and meet the needs of the men on the dais.”

For the church to welcome sexual sinners, it must be a community of grace where sinful people hear truth in the context of caring relationships, and where they learn that sexual sin isn’t unforgivable.

The study committee will assess the current situation in the denomination regarding racial reconciliation, identify specific problems that need to be addressed, and “develop constructive guidelines and suggest concrete steps for the use of the PCA, including all presbyteries and sessions, in order to make progress toward the work of racial reconciliation.”
