The PCA General Assembly gathers commissioners, exhibitors, visitors, and their families from across the denomination and country to conduct essential business and further the church’s mission. The Assembly is also a time for fellowship – reconnecting with friends, meeting new people, and exploring a different city. Here are ways you can keep up with the denomination’s annual meeting.
Schedule
The Assembly officially begins on Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m., with the opening worship service and a short docket of business to follow afterwards. However, committees will meet Monday and Tuesday to prepare their reports and recommendations for the General Assembly. The business will continue all day Wednesday and Thursday. Depending on the pace of the meeting, the business will conclude either by the end of Thursday or early Friday.
You can view the current docket and full schedule of activities.
Livestream
For those who cannot attend in person, the proceedings of the Assembly will be available to stream online. You can watch everything from worship services to the adjournment. If the Assembly is convened, it will be available to watch on live stream.
Real-Time Updates
If you prefer to keep up with the Assembly through updates on social media, you can follow byFaith on X (@pcabyfaith) and Facebook. Starting Monday, the actions and decisions of the Overtures Committee will be published, along with any significant items of business arising from the committees of commissioners. From Tuesday to Thursday, we will provide updates as the Assembly works through its agenda and motions are approved.
