Nearly 150 church, presbytery, and network leaders from 46 presbyteries gathered to talk about the development of “pipelines” — intentional systems that identify, disciple, and send out leaders.

Though pocketing the extra income is appealing Ed Dunnington calls the decision, “a short-term solution with a catastrophic long-term effect.”

Joel Belz, founder of WORLD News Group and former General Assembly moderator, died on February 4 at his home in Asheville, N.C., from complications of Parkinson’s disease.

The event will offer targeted tracks that encompass the range of phases of church planting, from those exploring the possibility to those leading established churches who are considering new launches.

The new project, dubbed “Teach Us To Worship,” will focus on updating the curriculum into a customizable tool for families and churches.

Stated Clerk Bryan Chapell’s office will send the petition to the federal officials designated in the overture.

Plans are underway for byFaith to launch new digital features in the coming year as well as to expand into other forms of media beyond written content.
