This spring, MNA will introduce a new church planter training model at its Multiply: Church Planter Preparation event at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Lakeland, Florida. The event will begin at 1:00 p.m. on March 11 and conclude at 11:30 a.m. on March 13.

The new model was developed in collaboration with experienced church planters and respected organizations such as Auxilio, Parakaleo, and Geneva Benefits. The event will offer targeted tracks that encompass the range of phases of church planting, from those exploring the possibility to those leading established churches who are considering new launches. Participants will choose a track aligned with their situation. After the event, the church planters attending will be grouped in cohorts that will meet monthly through the following year with an experienced church planter who will help them implement what was covered at the training event.

Chris Vogel, church planting and vitality coordinator at MNA, calls the church planting preparation event “groundbreaking.” The new training format, he says, will offer a wealth of experience and provide ongoing support to apply what has been learned. “There is no reason, at any stage, to do this work alone,” he says. “There is a team to support you.”

Registration is open through March 4. Discounted early bird pricing, $199 per person or $249 per couple will be available through Feb. 10. After that date, registration will be $250 per person.  Registration includes 5 meals (two breakfasts, one lunch, and two dinners). Details concerning lodging will be provided soon.
