The 2010 Strategic Plan, approved by the 38th General Assembly, calls for "public forums at General Assembly to discuss difficult subjects or new ideas without vote, offering charitable judgements among elders in the fellowship of ministry."
According to the plan, presbyteries are to suggest topics to the Cooperative Ministries Committee (CMC). The CMC will cull the list to five, and the final topic will be selected by a denomination-wide vote on byFaith next spring.
PCA elders are encouraged, at upcoming presbytery meetings, to suggest subjects, and have clerks forward approved topics to the Administrative Committee. Suggestions should be emailed to ac@pcanet.org. In the subject line please indicate: Topics for Public Forums.
