Public Statement from Stated Clerks Regarding Racial Reconciliation
By L. Roy Taylor and Bryan Chapell
Public Statement from the Stated Clerks Regarding Racial Reconciliation-2

In keeping with the actions and directives of the 44th and 46th General Assemblies of the Presbyterian Church in America, Stated Clerk Roy Taylor and Pro Tempore Appointed Stated Clerk Bryan Chapell call attention to previous actions of our General Assembly posted on the home page of the PCA Historical Center, https://pcahistory.org/, under the heading of “Resources on Racial Reconciliation” (RAO 3-2 t.). Those resources include not only the actions of the General Assembly but also other related documents.

Also in accord with those General Assembly actions, we commend to our churches the open letter from PCA agency presidents and permanent committee coordinators, addressing present racial injustices and tensions that Christians of all ethnicities must address with Scripture’s truth and grace. The letter is available at the website of byFaith magazine, and the issues are being addressed in significant gatherings (accessible online) of our denomination’s leaders organized by the Committee on Discipleship Ministry and Mission to North America.
