Morton Smith: 1923-2017

Leading voice in the founding of the PCA

Perhaps most notably, Dr. Smith was a leading voice in the founding of the Presbyterian Church in America, and he served as the denomination’s first Stated Clerk. His final working years were spent as a professor and dean at the Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, 1987-2012.
