A variety of educational institutions and committees affiliated with the denomination are hosting alumni lunches and special trainings this week in Houston during General Assembly. The following is a list of these events, including RSVP information:

Monday, 6 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. and Tuesday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Hilton Americas.

Columbia International University – Alumni Breakfast

6:30 a.m., Hilton Americas, Room 328

All alumni and friends of Columbia International University are invited to a free alumni breakfast. RSVP to ihodges@ciu.edu.

 

Mission to North America – Chaplain Ministries Breakfast

6:30 a.m. Hilton Americas

A breakfast to learn how our PCA chaplains minister among our military and civilian personnel.

Greenville Seminary – Informational Breakfast

7 a.m., Hilton Americas, Grand Ballroom J

Greenville Seminary will be hosting a breakfast for interested commissioners and guests attending General Assembly. This event is an opportunity for alumni, supporters and friends of the seminary to hear an update on the school. Anyone interested in the work of the seminary is invited to attend. Attendance is free, but donations are welcome.

Gordon-Conwell Seminary – Alumni Connect Luncheon

Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary alumni and their spouses are invited to an Alumni Connect Luncheon, Wednesday, June 18. This will be a time of fellowship with other alumni of the seminary. Register here.

 

Gospel Reformation Network – Luncheon

Mission to North America – Ministries Lunch

12 – 1:30 p.m., Hilton Americas

Mike Campbell, the organizing pastor and now senior pastor of Redeemer, will speak on the topic “New People; Different Churches” from Colossians 3:9-15. Mike will focus on how our new identity in Christ provides us with both the power and means to truly love those unlike us and forge relationships which enable us to be God’s beautifully diverse body.

Serge (World Harvest Mission) – Luncheon

12 – 1:30 p.m., Hilton Americas

All are welcome to this lunch gathering hosted by World Harvest Mission, which serves the church through gospel-centered resources, mentoring for ministry, and cross-cultural mission. Featured speaker will be Tuck Bartholomew, pastor of City Church Philadelphia, and a long-time friend of World Harvest. Tuck will speak on how God has worked through the ragged parts of his life,, transforming weakness and the world’s brokenness.

Westminster Seminary California – Luncheon

Serge (World Harvest Mission) – Women’s Coffee

Barbara Bancroft will host a relaxed afternoon of coffee, tea, treats and gospel conversations. Barbara is the author of the newly released book “Running on Empty: The Gospel for Women in Ministry” and the wife of Josiah Bancroft the Director of Mission for World Harvest.

The first 25 participants will receive a Complimentary copy of Barbara’s new book “Running on Empty.”
