The committee tasked with searching for the PCA’s next stated clerk has announced in a statement to byFaith that it is now accepting applications for the position.

“The Search Committee for the Stated Clerk of the PCA has opened its applications portal to interested parties for the Stated Clerk role. Application information can be found on the website at https://www.pcaac.org/stated-clerk-search/. The deadline for applications is October 27, 2025. Please pray for the work of the committee and encourage interested parties to apply.”

The Rules of Assembly Operations set forth the Administrative Committee’s responsibility to nominate to the General Assembly a Stated Clerk candidate (RAO 3-4) as well as both the position description (RAO 3-2 and 3-3) and qualifications (RAO 3-5).

The AC announced the search committee members in August. The committee members are Frank Cohee, Drew Field, Mike Hearon, Jason Helopoulos, Marty Moore, E.J. Nusbaum, Rick Phillips, and Alan Walters.
