The Unity Fund is intended to raise up leaders from diverse ethnic backgrounds by providing grants to educate, train, mentor, and develop minority leadership within the PCA.
Formal evaluations provide the opportunity to enhance ministry, improve priorities, encourage better communication and active participation. The process allows the church to grow toward mature service and caring fellowship, discover opportunities to implement better strategies, and strengthen the unity of spirit between the pastor and elders.

As a veteran of more than 30 General Assemblies, Ric Springer sums up his role as chairman of floor clerks succinctly: “Chief gopher, keep the Assembly moving, and meet the needs of the men on the dais.”
In addition to the business of General Assembly, commissioners participate in seminars and corporate worship and strengthen personal relationships.
