The Administrative Committee approved a recommendation to postpone the General Assembly scheduled to meet in Birmingham on June 15-19, 2020.

On April 13 the Administrative Committee will meet virtually discuss postponing the 48th General Assembly scheduled to meet in Birmingham, Alabama on June 15-19, 2020. 

What you need to do now – if the General Assembly proceeds as planned, we will work with the hotels to be sure your room reservations are honored. 

The goal is for all 550,000 members of these three churches to have the opportunity to participate.

As people suffer physically and economically, the month-long prayer initiative provides a structured way to pray for the needs inside and outside the church.

A decision has not been made, but we want to answer some common questions about how the decision will be made and the impact of a postponement on our work as a denomination.
