We don’t receive grace by doing a little more or a lot more of anything.

Confession, we are told, is good for the soul; it’s actually much better than that.

The assurance that God will finish the work he has begun reveals that – though we can have our ups and downs in the Christian life – he perseveres in his love for us.

The grace of God is greater than all our sins. Though they be as scarlet, through Christ’s pardon “they shall be white as snow.”

Perhaps the process of “keeping unstained” begins to happen as we become more aware of our own poverty and brokenness.

We serve Christ best when we believe he has lifted our burden and we rejoice in his grace.

Knowing that we are held by the God whose love is unconditional and unending releases us from fear and for Jesus!

The gospel assures us of that the infinitely holy and able God lifts us to himself “because of his own purpose and grace.”

I pray that God will enable the PCA to keep testifying to the truths of Psalm 1:1–2.
