ByFaith is launching a new podcast, “What Christians Believe,” examining the Nicene Creed. Each episode examines a different line of the creed to understand its meaning and ongoing significance for Christians. This year marks the 1,700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea, from which the Nicene Creed emerged.

The podcast is hosted by Derek Rishmawy who serves as campus minister for Reformed University Fellowship at the University of California, Irvine. In addition to his campus ministry, Rishmawy, who holds a doctorate from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, is a fellow with the Keller Center for Cultural Apologetics and co-host of the “Mere Fidelity” podcast.

Each episode of “What Christians Believe” will feature a discussion with a theologian focusing on a particular statement of the creed. The episodes and featured guests are as follows:

The first episode launches this month and will be available in audio and video formats. You can access the podcasts on your streaming platforms, and the videos will also be available on byFaith’s YouTube channel.
