Intinction Update: 10 Now in Favor of BCO Change, 18 Opposed

As of Dec. 5, 2012, 28 of the PCA’s 80 presbyteries have reported their vote on a proposed amendment to Book of Church Order 58-5. If passed, the amendment would prohibit intinction (dipping bread into wine) as a method of observing the Lord’s Supper.

Ten presbyteries have now passed the amendment, thereby voting to prohibit intinction. Eighteen presbyteries have rejected the change.
