In his annual report, Stated Clerk of the PCA General Assembly L. Roy Taylor reported that in 2015 the denomination had 1,534 churches, an increase of 35 from the previous year. There are currently 327 mission churches, which is a decrease of five. The denomination’s total membership now stands at 370,332, an increase of nearly 12,000 from 2015.

Taylor also reported that Sunday School attendance stood at 97,719, an increase of 1,096 from the 2015 figure. That’s the first increase the denomination has seen in several years. There were also 9,679 professions of faith, an increase of 254.

Giving increased in all categories. According to Taylor, “With virtually all mainline and some evangelical denominations plateauing or declining, PCA growth, though not as spectacular as in our early years, is noteworthy.”
