RUF Summer Conference: Understanding Justification

This summer, college students have the opportunity to meet new people, enjoy the beach, and learn more about God’s grace at the 2010 RUF Summer Conference in Panama City, Fla.

In addition to evening sessions focusing on the theme of justification, students will have the opportunity to take part in two- and four-day seminars with topics ranging from culture and theology to relevant issues facing college students today.

The conference schedule allows students time for personal reflection as well as time to talk with campus ministers and interns. Students will have free time in the afternoon for activities such as volleyball, basketball, swimming, sailing, and enjoying the beach.

RUF offers two date options for the weeklong conference. The first week will be May 10-15, and the second will be May 17-22.

John Stone, assistant coordinator for RUF and a former campus minister who served with RUF at Belhaven College and the University of Tennessee, will serve as the speaker for the first week of Summer Conference.

The speaker for week two will be Jeffrey Lancaster, a former RUF campus minister and current pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Memphis, Tenn.

Registration is available online at www.ruf.org/summer-conference. The deadline for early registration is April 19. Scholarships may be available; contact your campus minister prior to registration for more details.
