MNA Aids Haitian Hurricane Dean Victims
Mission to North America’s (MNA) Disaster Response ministry is working with Hurricane Dean victims in Haiti to help meet immediate needs and assist with rebuilding efforts.
“The natural disaster inflicted considerable damage to roads and agriculture,” said Arklie Hooten, director of MNA Disaster Response. “Multiple homes were damaged in communities where church plants are underway.”

El Shaddai Ministries, a ministry affiliated with MNA in Haiti, has assisted in launching more than 28 churches and mission churches, as well as establishing vitally needed schools and orphanages.
“Pray that the Lord will comfort our church family in Haiti and provide for them,” said Hooten. “Pray for the ministry leaders in Haiti as they are now challenged with new but temporary obstacles.”
MNA is organizing short-term teams of volunteers to travel to Haiti to assist in the clean-up and rebuilding efforts.
“With the frequency of major disasters and the current threat of terrorism, there has never been a better time for the PCA to show God’s love and mercy in this vital way,” said Hooten. “We want to meet the victims' immediate needs, help to rebuild their lives, and hopefully share the eternal hope of the gospel with them.”
