Li Named CTS VP of Business Administration

Covenant Theological Seminary recently announced that Albert “Al” Li has assumed the position of vice president of business administration. After 12 years of faithful service, Wayne Copeland has transitioned out of the VP role, moving to South Carolina with his wife. Copeland will be assisting with the transition through June 30.

Li, who grew up in St. Louis, has worked as a treasury manager and financial analyst for Monsanto and as a vice president at Bank of America. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri, and currently serves as a deacon at The Journey in St. Louis, Mo.

Li will oversee many areas of Covenant Seminary’s operations including compliance, accounting, budget planning, healthcare and benefit administration, facilities, and information technology services. Li is excited about his new role and particularly the opportunity to work in an environment of grace. “The mission of the organization and the emphasis of the gospel of grace appealed to me,” Li said. “There is a real opportunity to make an impact on this organization for the sake of the gospel.”
