GA Late-Night Concert Features Mo Leverett, Laura Story, and The Well

General Assembly will host a free concert Wednesday night, June 17 for all attendees. The concert will feature Mo Leverett, Laura Story, and The Well. The concert will be held from 9:00pm-11:00pm Wednesday evening in the Exhibit Hall.

Mo Leverett, perhaps best known as the founder of Desire Street Ministries in New Orleans, is also an accomplished musician, singer-songwriter, producer, and public speaker. His music is the outgrowth of his incarnational ministry in one of the country’s most challenged urban communities. An ordained teaching elder in the PCA, Leverett now pastors Centerpoint Church in Tallahassee, Fla., and is the president of Rebirth International. You can learn more about Leverett’s ministry and music at http://www.myrebirth.org.

Laura Story, once an aspiring concert conductor and then a member of the band Silers Bald, has recorded three solo albums since 2002. Her song “Indescribable” was recorded by Chris Tomlin in 2004, and has subsequently brought her national recognition. Her most recent recording is “Mighty to Save” available on INO records. You can find out more about her life, ministry and recordings at http://www.laurastorymusic.com.

The Well has been writing songs and leading worship in Central Florida for nearly four years. Their songs have risen out of a love for God's Word and a desire to serve the Church through music. Their website is: http://www.myspace.com/thewellband.

Seating for the concert will be on a first come, first serve basis. To register for General Assembly or for additional schedule information, click here.
