ByFaith E-Newsletter Gets a Makeover
According to Richard Doster, editor of byFaith, “We want to provide timely content that’s useful to PCA leaders. ByFaith magazine [print] is written for people in the pew—for our members who live and work in the world. We think we can complement that with an online component that delves into denominational issues.”
ByFaith’s bi-weekly HTML e-newsletter will focus on three things:
--Denominational matters. Readers will now find brief, but more thorough, stories concerning PCA agencies and committees, churches, and leaders. The newsletter will provide both the why and the what behind these stories.
--Administration and government. The e-newsletter will focus on stories that are of particular interest to leaders and members concerned with the inner workings of the PCA.
--Up-to-date news. The e-newsletter will provide timely information. “With our bi-monthly print magazine,” Doster said, “it’s impossible to respond to urgent events and to keep readers up-to-date on pressing matters. Byfaithonline.com, through this newsletter, is now a place where readers can keep up with the PCA’s most timely news.”
