What a fine, godly man. It has gotten to the point that many of us have as many dear friends in heaven as we have on earth. Bruce's passing makes me look forward to heaven all the more.

Bruce will be deeply missed by all in Heritage Presbytery. His faithful emails of encouragement were a trademark while he battled cancer over the years. Even though we have been serving overseas, Bruce did his best to keep us informed about the life of the presbytery. Our loss is heaven's gain. Peace brother.

Bruce was remarkable for his servant spirit. He was eager to see God glorified, the work of God be done in a proper manner and other brothers helped. He voluntarily served as clerk of a GA Judicial Commission which worked nearly every other Saturday for nine months.

Bruce was an inspiration. He served as our CHAIM Ministry board chairman for many years, and was also a close friend. He was always optimistic and had a wonderful sense of humor. We will miss him greatly, but he is in a better place with his Lord.

Bruce's steadiness and precision were very helpful in the early days of Heritage Presbytery. He helped us establish good habits in doing the church's business. The even greater gift to us all was his testimony to Christ's faithfulness in leading him and his family through difficult earthly days.

I knew Bruce when he was at WTS as a funny, caring, godly brother. In recent years, he corresponded with my husband on PCA/OPC presbytery business. May our Lord comfort Bruce's family and friends with the sure and certain hope of the resurrection.

Bruce and I shared a room together my first year at WTS; my memories of him all are good ... a thorough scholar, a patient and accommodating dorm mate, an infectious laugh and a constant encouragement. We've not been in touch since graduation; I just learned of his passing via Westminster Today ... my sincere condolences to his family.
