In the debate/discussion, I noticed that Mr. Keller made the comment, "we are not looking to ordain women, at this time." Frankly, despite that assurance I am concerned that if we are not careful we will indeed open a door that will lead to a slippery slope. That concern was reinforced by, "...at this time", which seems to leave a door open. If this was to lead to femine ordination, I believe it is an issue that could very well split our denomination.

And Dr. Keller's response.

An article by Dr. Keller, The Cultures of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA)
Tim Keller – 2003, offers additional insight.
May peace prevail to His Glory.

Alan, Tim Keller's statement, "we are not looking to ordain women , at this time" is very troubling. The phrase "at this time" leaves open the possibility that we will ordain women in the future. I fear that we are going down the wrong path as a denomination.
