Jesus Weekend: An Unexpected Encounter with the Savior
By

Trinity Presbyterian Church in Lakeland, Fla., will host Jesus Weekend, January 29-30, 2010. The conference, presented by seeJesus (www.seejesus.net), aims to reintroduce people to the person of Jesus through an interactive method of Bible study.

Jesus Weekend begins Friday evening with a closer look at the life of Jesus through a study of the gospels. On Saturday, attendees have the choice of participating in one of four unique tracks.

The Person of Jesus track immerses participants in a study of what Jesus is like as a person and offers the opportunity to learn how to teach interactively as well as how to use the study to reach out to non-Christians.

A second track, Small Group Leader Training, gives participants hands on training in leading inductive Bible studies as it immerses participants in the Passion of Jesus or another aspect of Jesus’ life.

The PrayerLife track is designed for Christians who long to have a rich prayer life, but are frustrated by the busyness of life and find it difficult to sustain a consistent life of prayer.

The fourth track is The Book of Ruth Study. This study shows believers what happens when ordinary people in difficult circumstances encounter an extraor¬dinary faithful love.

The cost for the conference is $49. This includes a continental breakfast, and lunch on Saturday. To register or for more information on Jesus Weekend, visit www.seejesus.net or email Julie Courtney at JulieCourtney@seejesus.net
