Four more presbyteries have voted on proposed changes to BCO 58-5. The changes, if approved by two-thirds of the PCA’s 80 presbyteries, would prohibit the practice of intinction (partaking of the Lord’s Supper by dipping bread into the wine).
Most recently:
Iowa voted 4 in favor of the change, 16 against, with 3 abstaining.
Western Carolina voted 17 in favor, 16 against, and 2 abstaining.
North Texas rejected the amendment: 13 in favor, 74 against, and 3 abstaining.
Korean Southern voted in favor of the amendment: 20-0-0.
To date, 9 presbyteries have voted to approve the amendment, 16 presbyteries have voted against the change.
