Yesterday, the General Assembly upheld the Overtures Committee (OC) on motions dealing with changes to the Rules of Assembly Operation — specifically to answer Overture 9 in the negative, to answer Overture 3 in the affirmative, and to answer Overtures 6 and 27 with reference to its answer to 3.

The latter vote affirms that the OC was formed as the appropriate forum for full deliberation on proposed amendments to the Constitution.
