The 44th General Assembly has overwhelmingly approved the amended version of Overture 43 from Potomac Presbytery, called “Pursuing Racial Reconciliation and the Advance of the Gospel.” After the vote, the assembly stopped to pray and sing together.

All other overtures dealing with issues of racial reconciliation and repentance will be answered in reference to the Assembly’s action on Overture 43.
