Eight overtures await the 42nd General Assembly regarding judicial process and the authority of the Standing Judicial Committee (SJC). The first of these, Overture 3, came from Grace Presbytery, and is the subject of the following conversation. Teaching elder Sean Lucas, who drafted the overture, writes in favor of the proposal.
