ByFaith Redesigned

ByFaith and byfaithonline.com have been expanded and redesigned.

“We’ve been publishing the PCA’s magazine for seven years,” said Richard Doster, byFaith’s editor. “We needed to adapt and to better express the vibrancy of the PCA — of its people, churches, and denominational organizations. We wanted to take their stories and encourage every member.”

Doster listed other reasons for re-thinking the denomination’s magazine and website, including the need to more broadly share the PCA’s best writers, theologians, and thinkers; the “duty”— as the magazine of a Reformed and orthodox denomination — to bring a Reformed worldview to contemporary issues; and, in light of recent controversies, to provide a public place where the PCA can disagree civilly and with respect for one another.

“We’ve redesigned byFaith,” Doster concluded, “because, as the apostle Paul notes in Ephesians 4:11-16, Christ gave gifted people to the church, not just so we could deepen our personal relationship with God, but so that we might, all together, “reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature….”

“We grow in Christ as we love God and learn to serve one another. Now, in print and online, we can better celebrate how that’s being done.”
