Art and the Church: A Pentecost Conversation

On Sunday, June 8, the InSpero arts ministry in Birmingham, Ala., will be hosting: Hearing in Their Own Languages: A Pentecost Conversation on the Role of the Holy Spirit, Beauty and Artists in the Church at Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church.

The event will begin at 4:30 with an artist gallery and reception. Original music and dance by local artists will follow at 5:30, and the evening will conclude with a Pentecost Conversation led by Gordon Bals, PhD, founder of Daymark Counseling. Dr. Bals will be speaking on the artists as prophets and leading a discussion between artists and pastors about the role of beauty in the church.
