PCA people, churches, agencies, and committees minister in a variety of settings and circumstances. Here, you’ll find a handful of upcoming opportunities to learn, grow, and get involved in our denomination’s work, all for the sake of Christ’s kingdom.

Mission to North America 

MNA SecondCareer Ministry has many opportunities for lay people interested in donating time and talent to assist church planters throughout North America. Some opportunities require traveling, but others can be completed remotely. Reformed University Fellowship 

RUF has named the Rev. John Pearson as its new assistant coordinator under acting national coordinator Rod Mays. Pearson participated in RUF in college and has spent the past 10 years as an RUF area coordinator andan additional six years as a campus minister at Washington and Lee University. John, his wife, Laura, and their three children willcontinue to live in Lexington, Virginia.

 

Covenant Seminary 

Throughout the spring, Covenant Theological Seminary will offer weekend classes to those interested in expanding their understanding on a variety of relevant subjects. Upcoming topics include rural church planting, women in ministry, and a missionary approach to Western culture. For more information, visit covenantseminary.edu/january-spring-seminars.

Mission to the world 

The MTW West Coast hub will hold its first public event April 27-28, 2018, at New Life Church in Fullerton, California. The West Coast Missions Conference is designed to raise the missions IQ of churches in the region. Speakers include MTW missionaries, pastors, and missions-minded laypeople. Visit mtw.org/witness

Committee on Discipleship Ministries

On April 13-14, the first 2018 PCA Women’s Conference will take place at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Mississippi. The theme for the conferences is “ONE: One hope…one faith…one church.” The four ONE conferences challenge women to think biblically about oneness in Christ. Visit  pcacdm.org/one-conferences.
