5 Responses to Alice McGowan Called Home to Glory

  1. Gary Ransom Cox says:

Charles – so sorry to hear that your wonderful companion in life and ministry has left your side but so glad she is “home” with the Lord and all the joy that means. We shall join her in the not-too-distant future. I remember staying in your home on one occasion that I’m sure you’ve long since forgotten but I remember Alice’s sweet spirit and kind heart. I am praying for the Lord’s comfort and peace for you and the family. May the Lord bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you and give you peace.
    Grace to you, brother

  4. Dear Charles,
Bless you, dear brother, as you grieve.
After 52 years of marriage, Becky and I often speak of that “dreaded moment” when we will have to say goodbye! We are praying for you – that your grief will be mixed with the PEACE that passes understanding born of the Gospel – and even moments of JOY that your dear Alice has been “set free into the glorious liberty of the children of God!”
Much, much love to you and yours,
    Johnny & Becky

  5. My Beloved Charles: My heart is filled with prayer for you and your family. May all of the compassionate Gospel ministry that has gone forth from your spirit to others, in similar times of unspeakable loss in their lives, be now returned to you in yours, in double measure, and anointing you with the oil of Christ’s healing mercies.
